Porkfolio: a food diary that keeps personal data on the phone.
Porkfolio is a photo food diary for iPhone, designed, built, and published on the App Store by SkinSoftware. People log meals with a photo or a short note, record how they felt, and can share a printable PDF with their dietitian. No account is needed, and the diary stays on the device.
On supported devices, Apple Intelligence drafts a meal description from the photo directly on the iPhone, so meal photos are not sent to a cloud AI service. The same approach is available for client apps: AI where it helps users, with clear boundaries for their data.

Own infrastructure · Switzerland
Private AI infrastructure, run in-house.
SkinSoftware runs its own local AI infrastructure in Switzerland. Open models run through Ollama on a server with an NVIDIA graphics card and are used for private development on request, so client code and data are not sent to cloud AI services.
The same infrastructure runs a private document archive: Paperless-ngx stores and indexes documents, while local models read scans and suggest titles and tags. It is the kind of system SkinSoftware installs in a client's office, where it usually runs on a single compact computer rather than a rack.
